MemberFirstly, I was going to post this in our staff only forum, but I figured it might be better if I opened it out to everyone else so all members could have a say.
‘The Latest And Most Useful Aim Addons’ thread, in the AIM section led me to suggest this. I’m mildly suprised it hasn’t been suggested before, perhaps there is a reason for that. If so, then excuse me.
Anyway, down to business. Would it be a good idea to have a thread for each major IM section, at the moment I’m thinking only MSN Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger, to have their own ‘Latest and Most Useful Addons’ thread. Basically, they’d serve the same purpose as the AIM thread, but would be a comprehensive list of working addons for the mentioned IM clients.
I wouldn’t mind getting an MSN Messenger one going anyway. What do we think?

ParticipantI agree with Martin, msn has some really useful addons and tools that I think it would be nice to gather them all in one section like “msn most useful addons”, it can be very convinient.
Like the thread about the program Server X I posted a few days ago, it would be a shame to let it die when in a few weeks people will no more notice it.September 5, 2005 at 4:22 am #128894shifter
ParticipantHeck, I don’t even see a reason to suggest it. Go ahead and do it I say.

KeymasterWhat I would prefer is to see the add-ons added to the BigBlueBall downloads section.

MemberHum…I’ve created the thread now. Is it possible to sort of transfer the information into the Downloads Section without losing the work that I’ve put into the thread?

MemberI tried uploading a file to the Downloads Section and got an error message, “This document contains no data”. Tried it a few times, and with 2 different files.
Seems like I can upload links though. Forgive me if you get a few anomalies with little information in…I’ve been trying something out.
