I love to chat more then use IM, can only talk to one person one on one for so long before i get bored. In chat have all kinds of stuff to talk about, though i do use Mirc and not yahoo chats or anything like that.

June 4, 2003 at 4:06 pm #68273BrianMemberExcite Chat was my first regular place of chat, I sort of got so bored with Excite and went to a Volano-Chat based chat rooms and stayed there from 1998 until 2001. I lost interest in chat rooms, because I got tired of certain people causing trouble. I guess I prefer IMs now. 🙂

You might say we sort of have a contest to see how many different people we can talk to in that period of time. and to see how far away the person lives. it’s an alright way to meet new internet friends.

I understand that most rooms have “regulars” who know each other and it gives them a group to hang out with. Not really my thing, if im in a game room around a lot of people i know, i can have a lot of fun though, but it gets old. One person is plenty for me to talk to.
