What, if any, programs are available to secure AIM (and/or MSN) as much as possible… i.e. hacking-protection, password protection, etc etc. I’m not even entirely sure what i’m looking for, i just want my computer and programs to be as secure as possible… any suggestions?

If you use a Hard Firewall ie Router, The incoming IP on your computer will be dynamically assigned by the router. Therefore, noone can get past the router on incoming. My experience, I have gotton around software firewalls easy 😉

Well then, there is nothing that will necessarily stop hackers thats why they are still a threat.
As you requested…

Use common sense. Don’t accept files from anyone you don’t trust. Don’t give out your IP.
^^ THAT is the true Antivirus.
