Hi everyone, Im wondering if anyone can help me,
A friend I have been talking to on IM for years, all of a sudden I cannot send anything, When I put the mouse on their name in my buddy list, all of their capabilities ( IM, Chat , Direct Connect, etc etc) are gone…
When I try to send anything it says:

We had been talking for years…

I am using 5.5.383 …. we had been talking fine until yesterday,
Everyone else on my list still has capabilities, except this one friend..
Im not sure of their version, and cannot make contact to find out. As I was saying, everything was fine until yesterday.
What would usually cause this? its just one person that I cant IM, the rest are fine…

You might need to find out what they are running, and if they only have the problem with you, or everyone else on their list. Try sending them in email? If you don’t know their address, try @Netscape.net and @aol.com, they may have registered.
I emailed them but heard nothing back,
Far as I know they havent changed anything at all with IM since we last spoke, it just lost capabilities and Im wondering what would cause that to happen?
Could it be some IM glitch?
or is there a way to actually block ppl out so that they see no capabilities?
I see them on line but the capabilities are completely gone, Have they done this to me, so I cant call them? Is that possible? or is it a glitch of some kind?
what Im trying to work out is what is causing this, all of a sudden when far as I know nothing has changed, except these capabilities have gone.
