if any 1 has this file, it would be great…..
imagehlp.dll
just trying something that might help from my older post’s
Thanks
I have the file and put it in this folder, unzip to C:/Program Files/AIM/Sysfiles You probalby knew I would be here lol. Hope this helps. I named the folder Imagehlp.dll so you know what is in it. Remember to take the file out of the folder after you unzip it.
yup thanks just another guess…..hopefully this might work
thanks
nope didnt work…..well i was able to replace the imagehlp.dll file in aim sysfiles but not in the windows system file, hence it also has a copy of the same file. so it always said i couldnt delete it or the system is using it but i exited aim so idk what to do.
so really dont knw if that worked or not but did replace aim system file imagehlp
ahh just another fall back
Thanks MrEggsalad
Your welcome, I will be able to supply you with any other files for AIM you need.
yup thanks
i just think im stuck with this problem unless i format my computer
Did you ever try just manually deleting all of the AIM folders and then reinstalling?
I know deleting is not uninstallation, but it might help clear away the junk for a fresh go at it.
yea i did MrEggSalad gave me some programs too i mean i did a search file from windows for ‘aim’,’aol’,’aim instant messanger’ and deleted all the files from the search and i deleted as much of the files i can find. pretty much all of it and when i reinstall it it all jsut goes back to the same condition.
