1) New logon picture.
2) Ad removed.
3) New buddylist bitmaps (away, mobile, sign on/off).
4) New buttons (IM, chat, write etc).

6) Replaced some bitmaps to give the mod a cleaner look.Works with AIM 5.5 3553 – 5.5 3583.
Haha, yes the full buddylist .dll file is in the download.
Now sence i’ve replaced some bitmaps and added the full button dll I had to compress the download into a winrar format. Sorry in advance if you dont have a program to open up winrar format.

Very nice. My only complaint…which isn’t a big deal…is there is no full buddy list AimRes.dll in the zip file you specified. Other than that, nice job. I’ll use it.
lol hey thanks for the comments, i appericate them all. Oh and i might have put the wrong file in the zip. I’ll fix that later on today.
I cannot thank you enough. I have been searching forever for a good AIM IChat mod but could never find a good one. The closest one i found was one made for StyleXP but it was done probably over a few hours as it looked sloppy. This mod has almost perfect detail and all of the icons seem to be of high quality. Thanks =), It will be a great substitute until the actual Ichat for windows comes out, if it does.

You’re very welcome and this is only my first version soo there alot more to do. I used resource hacker and PE explorer to replace/delete what you see in the first version. I use a patched UXtheme.dll to use non microsoft visual styles. The theme you currently see in the screenshot is Panther v1.3, and you can pick that and many amazing mac themes from http://studiotwentyeight.com/vs.htm
I’m getting new bitmaps and such from users over in the aqua-soft.org so the second version should be good. OH for everyone that is using this mod shouldnt go without tabbed IMs. I found a neat program that gives you all the smilys and tab IMs, you can pick it up here http://users.mnemonic.net/freeezer/
If the site is down i’ll give you the file. Its really small. It also works on all version of AIM. 😉
I would be interested in something like this for AIM version 5.2.3292 if at all possable. I do not like 5.5 and will not upgrading anytime soon for all the spyware and bugs. I only use it because of Direct Connection, its the most stable version to date, and it supports AIM certificates.
@WhiteMateria. I’m in the middle of receiving a aimres.dll and bitmaps to an iMod for AIM 5.2. Hopefully i’ll have the files before the end of next week. If so I have a day off from college and use it to finish up this very nice iMod. The guy from aquaxp was into doing it for awhile but kinda gave up. This is what he had done before he kinda gave up on the project.
