hi. this post is particularly for the ladies.
okay, so I woke up this morning around 7:20 (eastern time) and decided to shower before my 9 am general psychology class (something that I never do). I ran out of my usual dove nutrium body wash, so I was starting a new bottle. I always get excited to try a new body wash or shampoo or whatever. so I had a choice…johnson’s or olay? so I just put them both in the shower.
well, I used the new johnson’s softwash body wash. I loved it! they have a soft scent, and a calming lavender scent. I bought the lavender. I must tell you, the product is great! it fills your bathroom with a nice, pleasant smell, and when you dry yourself off with a towel, it leaves your skin as soft as a baby’s tushie. 🙂 well I guess it would, since johnson’s makes only baby products.
with the softwash body wash, I did find, however, that I had to squirt a little bit more onto my body puff than I normally do, but hey! it made my skin so soft!
well, just a little recommendation from me. I purchased it at walmart. the smaller size is like $2.69 (approx.) and the larger one is like $4.39…just go for the larger size…you get much more than the smaller one.
happy bathing 😉

it wasn’t directed towards you.
November 18, 2004 at 3:17 am #105144SpunkyMemberHiya Gossipingrae,

This is not a forum where you can post “ladies only” or “men only” threads. Unless you want to say that I can’t post in this topic either?
November 18, 2004 at 3:33 am #105130TigerbladeParticipanti particularly like the $0.89 cent three-packs of generic soap bars. they work pretty well, and are cost-effective also. they keep you clean, and dont smell like they got pulled out of a dumpster, or out of a garden.
i never use “body wash” or “body lotion” or any of that stuff (i still dont have a clue what a loofah is, or even if that’s spelled right), and I have no problems with my skin, i’m clean and I smell good.
i love being a guy.
November 18, 2004 at 4:43 am #105138gossipingraeMemberi didn’t say ladies only, I said “particularly for the ladies” the reason I said this is because I do not know of any men who like flowery scented body wash.
i don’t care if you try it. why would i? if I didn’t write down that it was geared towards women, then I would probably get back a bunch of crap saying “i’m a guy why would I try that?”

Get over yourself.
She said it was particularly for the ladies. That means men can respond if they really like.

A male (I guess twistedmetal is a male) replied, and she told him it was not directed toward him, that is male discrimination, and I will not have that (or female discrimination) on this board.
November 18, 2004 at 6:08 pm #105121Jeff HesterKeymasterDave, you’re wrong. She didn’t say that a guy couldn’t respond; she just acknowledged that the topic probably wouldn’t be of interest to guys.
GossipingRae, don’t worry — there’s nothing wrong with this topic. This is not discrimination by any stretch of the imagination.
November 18, 2004 at 8:14 pm #105139gossipingraeMemberthanks, jeff. I didn’t see why it could be considered discrimination.
anyway dave, why are you getting yourself worked up over body wash? it’s just body wash, for god’s sake. it’s not like I was making a derogatory remark against anyone’s religion or race or anything.
IT’S FREAKIN SOAP! WHO REALLY CARES?
November 18, 2004 at 8:57 pm #105125sciencefeelingMemberI was looking for it yesterday at the supermarket, I found Johnson’s body wash of course, but it didn’t say anything about lavender on the bottle….although the bottle was lilac colour. So I wasn’t sure if it was that one or if it is a new release that says lavender on it or something. Can you confirm this point for me?
Thanks,
N.-
(Natalia pretending that nonsense discussion above never ever took place)
November 18, 2004 at 9:20 pm #105140gossipingraeMemberjust to clairfy for sciencefeeling, it says “with lavender extract” or something along the lines of it, on the bottle. the label is also a light shade of purple.
November 18, 2004 at 10:04 pm #105128DavidParticipantEh… Sorry, I’m not sure what I was thinking, it is just soap.
November 19, 2004 at 12:38 am #105145SpunkyMemberHas anyone tried any of the Bath & Body Works…
If you like the lavender scent from the Johnson’s body wash, Gossipingrae.. Then you might really like the…Bath & Body Works, and the scent is called..” Moonlight Path “.. My daughter gave it to me last year for Christmas, body wash, body lotion, bubble bath, and also a body spray…. Oh my, it is so niceeeee…. I have gotten many compliments.. after showering and going out.. from people I don’t even know..:o.. also best time to buy it, is when it’s on sale.. many times during the holidays they have sales on it…. and of course after the New Year… when they are bringing in their other scents for Springtime…
Well off to take a shower now..:)
Hope you All, Have a Great Night or Day..;)
Spunky:)
