I have partitions on my pc, when I install msn im, it automatically installs to the C, but I want to install it to my H drive. Is there a way to have msn im install to my H drive? Is there a way to point the msn to my H drive?
I don’t think that it gives you an option during installation, but I’m sure there may be a way. It would likely require editing some registry entries and manually moving the Messenger Files over to your other Drive. Unless your familiar with editing the registry, I’d discourage you from trying that as it can be quite easy to corrupt your whole system. Messenger is a fairly small program so it probably would be best just to let it live on the C drive.
