MemberHello everybody. I’m new to this form as of today. Anyways, i would like to post this to any programmers that may be on this form.
I would like to ask anyone who can program if they wouldn’t mind making an instant idler. The only instant idlers that are available are ONLY for the versions 4.0 and none work for any version of the newest relaeas 5.0xxx. So, may request is for anyone who would like to, to make an instant idler for 5.0 please. I don’t know if this can be done or not, but just please reply back and let me know and that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks![Edit]: Changed topic to something more descriptive.

MemberMay I ask why anyone would want an instant Idler? I think the away message might take care of that and if you really dont want ppl to bother you then Privacy prefrences might be of use….oh and there is that thing called Signing off?

And may i ask why you are sarcastic? The reason that I am asking for an instant idler is because it would be a fun thing to have, and to use. It’s useful to have because if you are in a hurry to leave, and you want people to know that you are instantly away then you can idle yourself faster! And by the way, I have heard of signing off, but i run on dsl and i keep my aol instant messenger up 24/7 so there is no need for me to sign off, that’s why i put my away msg up!
P.S.
I have been reading different topics and dicussions that people have been asking and posting, and i see your replies to them, and quite frankly i must say that you are very rude and sarcastic. I don’t appreciate that, and if you have a problem with any of this, then that’s your probelem, not mine.
Have a nice day:)July 31, 2003 at 2:18 am #58282David
ParticipantIf you want people to know you are away, just use an away message. It does serve the same purpose. Most people don’t even pay attention to your idle time anyway.

MemberYes I guess I was a bit sarcastic, because quite frankly I felt as if your question was a joke. What is the difference between putting an away msg up and getting an auto idler?
