Remember the movie
The Game? In it, Michael Douglas plays a wealthy man drawn into a game so real, it becomes his reality. Well, now http://www.ea.com
has created a game you can play on the Internet that youŒve got to try to believe. The name of the game is Majestic, and the objective is to find out exactly what the truth is. In Majestic you become an actual participant, drawn into the intrigue, mystery and… danger. The
first “episode” is said to take about a week to complete, and is free. If you like it, you can continue playing with a platinum subscription that runs about
$10 a month.Once you begin the game, you may (at your option) begin to receive instant messages from mysterious strangers like
MainerdKyle or thesilentprtnr; anonymous phone calls, emails (are they real?) and even faxes! All of them providing clues to the riddle that is Majestic. Is Majestic a gimmick or fad? Or is it one of
the first of many innovative ways to use web technology like instant messaging to create bold new forms of entertainment?Check the game
out, then share your experience in our discussion forums. -
