Hi all,
I’m new to this forum, so be patient ok.I’m having some really bad issues with yahoo while i’m in chat!!:( After about 15 minutes my friends can no longer see me typing and it shows my status as being away with the little clock next to me name….I’ve read here that this could be a spam filter issue so I turned off me spam filter and all seemed to work well for a bit but its happening again….It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even enjoy chatting with me friends cause they can’t even see me:(.
I’m not sending spam out into the room to cause this……Is there anything I can do short of reinstalling my yahoo? Please I really need help:)…Thank you….What I meant by spam filter was filters at Yahoo!s servers.
They are getting some stuff wrong, maybe blocking people by mistake, its nothing you have control over…
This is just a guess, but its the closest thing I can thing of, I looked for patterns and found none…
This also happens to me a lot. But in my regular room, if people don’t see me typing, they ask if I ran out of ink again. Then I end up leaving the room, try to go back to the room, and am never able to join the room again. Even if I join user, or have a friend invite me.
This leads me to believe that my name is stuck in lag limbo somewhere. So I log off, sign on under a different name, join the room right a way, have no problems chatting. I do this for about 10 min, then go and re-log into my other name. Again, no problems, logging in, or getting into a room, or chatting.
Very strange glitch, that has been happening for quite a while (at least to me).
