An IP address is not a security risk. People are always paranoia about their IP address. You should not be this. Remember you can never hide yourself completely on the internet.
Of course people can harm you if they know your IP address, but it’s the same in real life. If people know your street address they can also harm you. You can never hide completely when you want to be part of a network.

Doesn’t do away with my statement. You can NEVER hide your IP address completely. Don’t be so paranoia about it. Everyone has it, everyone shows it.
