Is it just me or am I insane (well,we already know I am)You see I add buddies to my B/L and I know they would be on,but they appear off.I am getting really sick of adding people to my B/L and they never appear on when I know they would have too because I have cloned under a secret s/n and the yare on and they havent blocked me,I know because one of them is my best friend and sometiems people who havent even met me yet so they couldn’t block me.I have checked all the privacy settings and only a selected few cant contact me (I blocked them for a good reason!)What is up with this?Confirmation requested!

Your friends could be blocking you, and people you don’t know might have you blocked by means of “Block everyone not on my buddylist” option in the AIM Prefs.
You need to be a little more clear on what exactly is wrong. Can you give some defined examples (and what client (AOL or AIM) a person is using)?
Well,I fixed it now…it wasn’t blocking..and I use AIM 4.8 (for MYIm) It was some internal thign on my computer aout the block list not being unchecked and to many peopel blocked from my side of the IM (They are all annoying..”Are you a robot”)

I HATE getting IMs from strangers that start that way!!! I’m sometimes tempted to play them just for kicks. 😡
I totally hear you only the there’s no way it can be because you have too many buddies. I only have about 11 and some of my buddies names are just like you say, never on, and just like you i find it totally annoying because i know they’re on, and haven’t blocked me,so…..anybody got any other answeres as to why this is??
