Yahoo Messenger 5 5 use to save all the offline messeges, which you can look at later in Tools->offline messeges, but Messenger 6 delets all the offline messeges. Is there any way those offline messeges can be saved, so I can look back at them when I want. Any help will be most appreciated. Thank You.
I think thats just a feature built into version 6 and above.
I’m sure this has been asked before, either on this forum or another, and it isn’t possible to save them.
Carbonize and Freddy created a program that will let you read your saved messages and then store them in a more readily accessible format. I have not tried it as I don’t use messenger, but I know others who have and they have reported no problems with it.

Look under Yahoo > Archive Reader for the exact page.
Hello panther,
Have your YM 6 to enable Message Archive, it should save your offline messages as well.
No, the message archive feature does not save offline messages. Offline messages are automatically deleted when you close the offline message box. It only saves conversations that you have online.
Dear amy,
It does save the offline messages in your archive if you had it enabled before you received the offline messages. It’s all in there =)
