i have been recieving alot of e-mails off friends saying that msn is going to be paid for is this true or not
I highly doubt that MSN will be a paid service anytime in the near future. They would lose a great deal of their users (as would any IM network), especially since they recently struck a deal with Yahoo IM… so rest easy, no money required.
thank-you tigerblade that is a great help 🙂
Notice how most of those emails, if not all, tell you to send it to as many people as possible for some random reason. Tis just a chain letter to grab your email addy
yep i have noticed that and so has my other mates who have recieved them. i have let all mi mates know about it and they are gonna forward the e-mail i sent them to the rest of their friends.
Don’t believe that crap and type your email in that chain mail. This has happened in the past as well.
The ridiculous thing is that it says “if you dont believe me go to http://www.msn.com to read about it” which of course is bollocks 😎
yeah ive noticed that on all of the e-mails i have been getting about it. thank-you all for ur help.

MSN Messenger has other ways of generating revenue: ads, premium services etc. but nobody can tell for sure since a large number of people remove those ads and premium services from their clients using patches etc.
So…who knows.
