*Edit*
I ran Ad Hack, and it worked perfectly. I was a little disconcerted by the number of options I did not want, but it’s nice that I was given the option to deselect them 🙂*Edit #2*
Well… maybe not perfectly… whatever was done to remove the ads from the profile viewing window also covered the bottom border so that window can only be made taller via the 4 pixels in the bottom right corner 🙁 Still well worth getting rid of the plugins bar though 🙂*Edit #3*

With regard to Ad Hack, I still think it’s a great option, but I did decide that the bug I mentioned above was not tolerable… probably some form of OCD on my part :p At any rate, I guess I could use Ad Hack for the plugins bar, and Jon8RFC’s solution for ad removal, but for the time being I’m just dealing with the plugins bar.
