My ex-roomies (2 of them) were addicted to mario and used to play 24 – 7. God knows when did they get their time to complete their assignments and college stuff. One of them even took 100s of printouts of a huge Mario sequence, and pasted it on the wall of his room, exactly the way the first picture here shows.
Frankly, I kinda dislike people (based on my experience with my ex-roomies, who spent all their 24 hours-7days a week-4 weeks a month and 12 months a year in their rooms playing Mario… and finally me and my other room-mate, successfully kickd them out.) who are addicted to computer games or play stations and stuff like that. For them the only source of entertainment is sitting on a chair or floor staring at the computer screen or tv screen with thick glasses and ailing eyes and playing a meaningless game for hours. For time pass, its ok. But getting addicted to these games and dreaming about it, is really really creepy. I would rather go out and work out than spend my time indoors playing these stupid nerd-istic games.
Looks like this kid has enough money to spend on those games. I wish he could loan half of it to me so that I can afford my tution. Jesus, Sarah, kids these days…..:P
August 30, 2005 at 3:01 am #119762QuiksilverMemberI’ve seen that before, but it still amazes me =0.
August 30, 2005 at 3:42 am #119763AqeelParticipantThis is his hobby so I’m not going to disregard but speaking truly mostly hobbies are total waste of money. But, yes I liked the interior decoration of the room in the first picture, a unique idea:p

Jesus, Sarah, kids these days…..:PWell, it looks like he put up a FAQ now, and apperantly this “kid” is 31 years old and has been married for 11 years. đIf you’re wondering anyhing about this I suggest you read the rest of the FAQ. I liked this:
Just because I âownâ 5,000+ games doesnât mean I play games all the time. Many of my games Iâve never even gotten to play yet. Jay Leno owns 107 cars, Does that mean he must spend all his time driving them?
Still though, I wish that room were in my house. I envy that guy. It’s also interesting to read his strategies on buying used games and getting good deals.

I think he was only answering the ones he wanted to answer. And it isn’t too often (not trying to offend anyone) that you get a girl that likes video games.

All of the building and painting. Twenty hours of painting is a lot plus the time it took to build the Nintendo bench.
