Thanks for showing us the pic.colin, hop on a plane up to wisconsin and i’ll show you snow. doesnt really even matter what month it is, that’s the beauty of wisconsin. we were just discussing today how we remember this last summer lasting just a few months and bam it was winter again. we have two seasons, winter and construction. a few of us have pictures of ourselves in sweatshirts or sweaters ON JULY FOURTH!!!!! that’s not right.March 2, 2005 at 7:25 am #116018Dr KimbleParticipant
Yikes Tiger! You need to hop on a plane and come to Colorado with me for the summer. 4th weather is perfect there in my opinion; lazy, hazy, and orange sunsets. Ahh summer…
March 2, 2005 at 8:55 am #116027sarahtownyMemberThis pic I took of my Village a few years back! However, it looks the same today due to a few inches of snow!

i hate the snow too. really, i do! when i graduate, i’m moving to the amazon. but then again, you have to deal with malaria and mosquitos the size of your fist. bah!
March 2, 2005 at 4:20 pm #116026amy_d_gParticipantWe’ve had snow in Ohio for about 3 months now. Though it came kind of late this winter, the first snowfall is usually in November, but it didn’t hit us until just before Christmas. Here’s what it looks like today.
March 2, 2005 at 5:47 pm #116013TigerbladeParticipanti wish i had a camera to take a picture of the dreary scene that i get to see every day… but believe me you’re not missing out on anything by not seeing it.
lets just say i cant wait to leave this state. as soon as possible.
March 2, 2005 at 10:18 pm #116003Jeff HesterKeymasterTigerblade, if you like changing weather move to Germany. 1 month ago it was around 15°C and last night it was -18°C !! And it’s even snowing since a few days. It doesn’t snow very often here…but the chance to see snowflakes in the middle of July is more probably than to find some at Christmas….:( …*sniff*
I took a pic of our graden some hours ago..my little Samy loves jumping around in the snow…I just have to watch out that she doesn’t get lost with her white coat.;)
DJ will post the pic for me…:)

I would be stoked if it was snowing, it’s so hot down (or up:D ) here. OUr school doesnt have air con and it was 36 celsius today (not sure what f that is but its a fair bit).
But I guess on the flip side you guys wouldnt mind some heat. Swap houses?

well you see, bloomsburg university is gay in the face. we could have a foot of snow on the ground, but still go to classes. when i was in high school, if there was ANY sign of a bad storm, school was closed. i just didn’t feel like going to classes on tuesday…we had a compressed schedule, which means shortened classes beginning at 10 am. i was mad b/c it messed up my plans.
i wouldn’t mind visiting australia. you can have my snowboard, qwerty, and i’ll take your surfboard. just remember to wear a helmet when you first learn to board…i got a concussion the first time i tried. haha.

March 3, 2005 at 10:03 pm #116004Jeff HesterKeymasterOur school never closes becaus of snow. We just can stay at home when the bus doesn’t come.
But in the summer, when it’s very hot, sometimes we can go home earlier. But it has to be 28°C at 10am. And that’s really rare…… and last year some little children cried cause they didn’t know how to come home, so our principal said we’ll never get *heat-free* again… 🙁March 4, 2005 at 3:23 am #116021QwertyMembergossipingrae wrote:well you see, bloomsburg university is gay in the face. we could have a foot of snow on the ground, but still go to classes. when i was in high school, if there was ANY sign of a bad storm, school was closed. i just didn’t feel like going to classes on tuesday…we had a compressed schedule, which means shortened classes beginning at 10 am. i was mad b/c it messed up my plans.i wouldn’t mind visiting australia. you can have my snowboard, qwerty, and i’ll take your surfboard. just remember to wear a helmet when you first learn to board…i got a concussion the first time i tried. haha.Haha ok. You might want to take a helmet surfing though. I just got back from a surf and my mate got another guys surfboard in the knee cap. Took a fair chunk outm pretty rank. Would’nt be very nice to have that in the side of the face.
