Okay Jeffy I will leave here with all your computer followers of Master Jeffy. One final thought there Little One. Why you wanna tell me how to live my life? Who are you tell me if its black or white? Jeffy can you hear me? Try to understand is innocence the difference between a boy or a man. My Daddy lived the lie its just the price that he paid. Sacrificed his life just slavin away.If theres one thing I hold onto that gets me through the night. I dont do what I dont want to Im gonna live my life. Shining like a diamond rolling with the dice standing on the ledge show the wind how to fly. When the world gets in my face I say HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

October 21, 2005 at 3:04 am #131631TigerbladeParticipantMassa Jeffy… Ima thinkin this thread is just about done?
October 21, 2005 at 4:01 pm #131620Jeff HesterKeymasterI’ve moved this from public view as it was an embarrassment to BigBlueBall. I’m not going to ban larrygman (yet), but if he causes trouble again I will.
Sarah had moved this topic here once before, and obviously her instincts were correct.
I read something interesting yesterday about writing on the web. Jakob Nielson suggests remembering that everything you post on the web will (some day) probably be read by your future employer — so don’t say anything that would give them pause to hire you.
While I tried in this topic to maintain decorum, it was difficult and I wasn’t proud of the final outcome.
For what it’s worth Bostichman and Larrygman are probably the same guy — their IP addresses were 68.161.96.40 and 68.161.128.22 respectively.
October 21, 2005 at 5:12 pm #131629OreoMemberWhy doesn’t that surprise me? All these morons have to have an alter “just in case” they get banned. Blah!
October 22, 2005 at 11:00 am #131641sarahtownyMemberI personally think this one should grow dust on it, so I my immediate thought was to leave it here.
Sadly, as we all know, the odd person will just want to cause arguments and join sites for that reason only. Personally I think these two guys (or one as the case may be) are a perfect example.
We all did our best with this one and I think the members who read it will be more than delighted to see the back of it. But it did also show by how quick our staff replied and that we will not tolerate this sort of behaviour.
However, a thought has crossed my mind to put it back but locked with a final message from Jeff regarding why the thread had to be closed. It not only lets the members who had viewed it, understand and see that we have taken the appropriate action. It is also there as a warning to those who infringe the boundaries of our forum policies.
BB should be a a place where we like to hear views and have gritty debate, but there is a point where if someone goes over the line, then the outcome would be the same.
October 22, 2005 at 4:33 pm #131630OreoMemberLovely idea Sarah! Where do you come up with these?? 😀 We actually have some of those out there, but they are not too recent…since in reality…things here have been rather sane compared to the past. (Hope I don’t jinx anything now!) Perhaps a more recent topic will help with putting the idea across.
