Its the 22nd on the east coast.When do the normally release software by east coast or west coast time or do they just wiat till the work day starts.I can wiat I want it now lol
Don’t hold your breath… it’s the 22nd here on the WEST coast now (including in Seattle). I don’t think the April 22nd release date for MSN Messenger 6.2 was firm.
So we are kept in limbo until it is released.
*sigh*What kind of efficiency is this?I don’t really think there is a definite way of telling, but do you think it will be a matter of hours, days or a few more weeks?
Well http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=msn&slcid=US and they say its suppose to be today and here http://messenger.msn-int.com under the help section it has it talking about the 22nd but who knows ive been up for awhile wating for it lol
I went to MSN messengers site. I see they changed it but how do I know if the MSN messenger there is the new one? I’m looking and I don’t see anything that says 6.2 or anything. Just messenger 6. Maybe I’m blind so my apologies. I clicked on learn more and it showed this MSN messenger that looked a little different. Maybe it’s the new one? Anyway I have dialup so I don’t want to download and wait all this time and have it be the same MSN 6.1 I have. Well that’s all I had to say.

its the 22nd.. yes.. but not all places are in work hours on the 22nd.. for example. I am typing that at 7:30 in the morning.. then theres the west coast. 6:30 AM..
i’m just saying. just because its past the 21st doesn’t mean its out.. they’ll probably release it when all countrys pass 9:00 AM. I cant guarantee.. but I am pretty sure.. because microsofts work hours would be on.. or bla bla bla..
it takes time to update all the sites (for all the languages and stuff).. and then they get hit with a big croud of people trying to download it..
microsoft will probably update it at a time in their own time zone when people are at work and probably dont have access to MSN messenger..
The official Messenger site (http://messenger.msn.com) is still distributing 6.1. Whether there will be a 6.2 release or not, and when, remains to be seen.
Hey everyone! I just signed into MSN and a pop up came up saying a new virsion of MSN messenger is now available, would you like to install it now? I clicked on yes then the box went away and nothing happened, I didnt see anything getting installed and I went up to messenger and clicked on help and then clicked on about messenger and is says I still have 6.1 .0211 so I dont know what the pop up thing was all about..:mad: well hopefully they release it soon…:eek:
I just downloaded 6.2 from http://messenger.msn-int.com – it is now available! 🙂

Dissapointing. I see nothing new other than the new naming of the lanch site.
Well… I just noticed that you can see emoticons where you enter your message as you type the code. Not very interesting.Please post your 6.2 feedback here.
