What can be the problem here? All other IM’s work, only Jabber won’t go online.
Check your status.conf to see that your jabber username and password are entered correctly. Do not use any strange characters in your password.
Try to log on to this Jabber account through a normal Jabber client, for example Psi.
The username and password are spelled correctly and consist of only letters. Logging into Jabber with the Jabber client itself works fine, but OSI won’t connect to it.
Jabber isn`t able to logon if you are behind a proxy (socks 4/5) i`m not sure why but it seems that the software has problems with it, also if you are using a nat router that hasn`t got a good nat translation it will fail.
I’m not behind a proxy or NAT router, the standard Jabber client can logon. It’s just the OSI that won’t.
