MemberTurnkey, Feature-rich Solution Includes Firewall, Proxy, and NAT Traversal for Guaranteed Call Completion.
September 12, 2006 – Vancouver, B.C. and Denver, Colo – Jabber, Inc. and Eyeball Networks today announced a strategic partnership to deliver a turnkey solution for presence-enabling client-server Internet Protocol (IP) telephony based on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP). By combining the Jabber Extensible Communications Platform (Jabber XCP) with Eyeball’s Messenger, Messenger Software Development Kit (SDK), SIP Application Server, and Any-Firewall™ Server products, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers and application developers can seamlessly integrate Jabber XCP’s core presence capabilities with calling applications and services that require guaranteed call completion and optimized voice and video quality. Integral to these efforts is Jingle, a set of standardized extensions to XMPP that allow SIP clients and devices, XMPP clients and devices, and traditional telephony devices to communicate with one another via voice and other available modes.
“Jabber, Inc. and Eyeball are already co-marketing a joint solution to strategic accounts where tightly coupling presence and real-time XML routing capabilities with triple-play offerings in broadband, IP telephony, and television services is a top priority,” said Rick Emery, vice president of business development for Jabber, Inc. “In partnership we deliver a cohesive and extensible package of presence-enabled telephony tools and services that VoIP providers and application developers can readily deploy as differentiated products immediately available to end customers.”
“We’re pleased to become a strategic partner of Jabber, Inc. with the certification of our Messenger, Messenger SDK, SIP Application Server, and Any-Firewall Server products with Jabber XCP,” said Chris Piche, chief executive officer for Eyeball Networks. “Individually, the quality and innovation of our products and underlying technologies lead our respective industry categories and together, we offer a turnkey Internet communications solution like no other.”
Jabber XCP, Jabber, Inc.’s flagship presence and messaging server, is at its core a streaming Extensible Markup Language (XML) router that service providers, enterprises, and government agencies have deployed extensively as a highly programmable platform for bridging applications, networks, devices, protocols, and multimedia services across triple- and quadruple play offerings. Jabber XCP is built upon XMPP, approved by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as a standard for instant messaging (IM) and presence technologies.
Eyeball’s Messenger and Messenger SDK products set a new standard in VoIP, video telephony, and IM integration. Their ability to traverse firewalls, proxies, and Network Address Translations (NATs) coupled with the patented AnyBandwidth™ technology which optimizes user experiences based on bandwidth availability and device type, make them the choice for many service providers. Each client is SIP- and XMPP-compliant, fully customizable, interoperable with public and private IM networks, and built with peer-to-peer (P2P) media delivery.

MemberHello,
I checked this site and must to tell that the company is totally unresponsive. That is why I searched for a similar SDK.
It is the Ozeki SIP SDK. It is for .Net and seemed to be more flexible for me to implement voip video calls into my application. It is available at voip-sip-sdk.com. The site also offers sample programs that help a lot to start with… I can recommend the ozeki SIP SDK to others in similar situ. -
