Kazaa and aol

Could anyone please help me with using Kazaa and aol? Kazaa won’t connect even when i’m on line. I’m running aol 8.0 on Windows 98. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I searched for known issues and bugs going through aol to use Kazaa and found nothing. Several suggestions may fix your problem. Make sure you have the latest version of Kazaa. There is the latest version of AOL 9 called “Hawaii” something build, try keyword “beta” in aol directly. The amount of ram you have may also be a factor if you are under 128MB. A broadband internet connection (dsl or cable modem) may just solve your problem instantly unless your issue is an operating system problem.

If you are not signed in under a master screen name with AOL, other programs usually can’t connect to the internet. I don’t know if this is true for everybody, but I’ve experienced it with me, which is pretty annoying.

The problem is that AOL does not have a real internet connecation.

Solution; get a real ISP. $23/mo is way too much for dial-up.

I hope this will help, uninstall Kazaa… install Kazaalite (http://www.kazaalite.tk).

DavidA, your not only paying those $23 dollars for the connection, you are also paying for the program itself. Which is very useful and nice.
