For some reason, while I’m using my computer, the keyboard and mouse stop working. They’re both plugged into their respective ports (both are plugged into ps/2 ports) but they stop responding while I’m in the middle of doing something. I plugged another mouse into one of the USB ports and it seems to be working fine.
Does a reboot always fix it? Have you reinstalled your motherboard chipset driver? (Although shouldn’t be needed).
Sounds like your PS/2 ports are going bad. :/
After rebooting they seem to work. But after using the computer for 10-15 mins, they stop working. I’ll try reinstalling the MB drivers. Would flashing the MB BIOS help?

Customer: Yes, there’s another one here. Ah…that one does work
Maybe you didnt use Logitech. Heh. That seems to be the source of many peoples problems. Buy Logitech and never go back.

Never go Microsoft for mice or keyboards again, soon will be upgrading to the Z-5500 SpeakersFlashing the BIOS may or may not help, I wouldn’t risk that until the end though.

Syntax, have you tried reinstalling the drivers for your keyboard/mouse? Try booting into safe mode, does the problem still happen then?
