Today i tried to move TeaGranny’s test thread from the Food, Romance, & other Essential Distraction’s Section to Forum Support but i got a message saying:
You do not have permission to manage threads and posts

Forum: Food, Romance & Other Essential DistractionsI also noticed i only have editing powers in the Yahoo! Section. So was just wondering if powers changed or did you catch me trying to take over the forum and took my powers away! 😮

Actually…I told Tea Granny she could post there. As far as you not being able to move it…I don’t know what that’s all about..that’s a Jeff issue and probably has to do with the updates. As far as Tea Granny, she’s trying out a few things and I don’t mind it being there. But she’s still having trouble with no edit button…so I’m wondering if that has to do with the update as well.
I think we changed the policy back when rustedtight went on a post deleting spree, and I think we agreed on a time delayed span where a regular member could delete their own post. (a few minutes, hours.. I don’t remember)
It seems those privileges were changed, or disappeared in an update or an untold admin decision change?
Regular members cannot delete their own posts though, that is for sure (tested with twistedmetal).
