Lag problem!

Hello!

I recently bought a new hdd due to my old one crashed. Once i had installed my OS, Vista Home, and all other needed drivers i wanted to install Messanger again. So i did..

But, everytime i open a new convo, or when ppl write to me, it lags, ALOT. Sometimes it takes 2 mins for the program to open a new convo window, also freezes totally on random times.

I have a strong comp, that can not be the problem. It worked perfect before i changed my hdd, and i doubt that would be the problem since every other program works perfect.

What can i do..? If you need anymore info about my system/setting or such just ask and i will provide it!
