Anyone else finding the email notifications for replies are taking forever to come through? Or am I just getting lucky on Gmail?
May 3, 2009 at 8:38 pm #174575FanaticMemberHow long are they taking? Do you want to do a test? Anyone else interested in helping test?
May 3, 2009 at 10:50 pm #174583Doris KenneyParticipantWell, from what I can see it looks like that last post hit my AOL email about 6:10pm EST (just shy of 2 hours after post) and was in my Gmail less than 15 minutes after that (POP3 checking being what it is and all).
I’ve changed my settings to bypass AOL and go directly to Gmail but as I said – from the header that was only about 15 mins.
Maybe 2 hours is normal and I’ve never noticed it, but it’s surely a lot slower than most forums I deal with. Anyway – maybe it’s just my email situation too. Hard to tell. Unless someone else pipes up we may never know.
May 3, 2009 at 11:24 pm #174576FanaticMemberOk, I’ve subscribed to this thread to see if I have the same problem. Hit me with a reply.

May 4, 2009 at 1:45 am #174582Doris KenneyParticipantWell this will be interesting. I just got the “hit me with a reply” email so here’s mine….2 hours after the original post. I’ve not seen the email for Nessa’s reply yet.
May 4, 2009 at 6:55 am #174573Jeff HesterKeymasterOkay, I’ve subscribed. Now for the test.
May 4, 2009 at 6:55 am #174574FanaticMemberHere’s a reply to test response time.
May 4, 2009 at 12:07 pm #174578NessaParticipant*here is another reply to help your test*
And I’ll say I’ve never really checked into how long it’d take for me to get an e-mail for suscribed topics. But then again I wouldn’t check back immediately so I’d usually have an e-mail there before I came back.

Wake up at 6am and go to sleep around 1am or 2am pending how long my phone conversation goes on for. lol
May 5, 2009 at 3:17 am #174584Doris KenneyParticipantWhere, oh where is the Nessa time to herself?? And gym doesn’t count because as far as I’m concerned that’s just torture plain and simple.

Couldn’t spend that time talking to anyone better.
And the gym isn’t so bad adding in some dance classes with the exercise. From cardio to weights on machines.
