Now they were probably dead before most of us were born but we’ve all seen their old black and white films.
Laurel and Hardy: as a comedy duo they have never been surpassed. Their comic timing, their expressions, no duo has even had it down to such a fine art as those two did.
Better than Tom and Jerry anyday!

Oh yeah they were great! But I think we still have some great duos of comedy out there! From the olden days . . . Lewis and Martin, Abbot and Costello (my favorites), Cheech and Chong, and from now Penn and Teller, Keenan and Kel, Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey; and my favorite animated duo – Wallace and Gromit.
Whoever they are – they always bring out the grin in me. 😀

I agree that Abbot and Costello were good but I don’t think that they had L&H’s timing, or at least not as consistently.
[or maybe the old black & white film techniques don’t do them justice. Imagine the money that [dual] talent like theirs could generate today!]
