i think the toolbar was added while i was viewing BBB, and as soon as it was added, i noticed a massive slowed downess in the speed in which the sites take to load….plus it takes up a lot of space on the page….i was happy with the way it was before!
November 6, 2002 at 11:35 pm #99660magistykMemberYeah Phil, we’re still debating if we are going to keep it on. Big changes are coming to BigBlueBall soon.
November 6, 2002 at 11:46 pm #99654Jeff HesterKeymasterBig changes??? Sounds scary! I prefer to think of it as GOOD changes. 🙂
Phil, you caught me playing with the left-hand menu…. what do you think about making it user configurable (turn it on or off, depending on your personal preference)?
November 6, 2002 at 11:49 pm #99662PhilMemberthats a good idea jeff!!! because not everyone will agree with what i said above…therefore, it would be a bonus to choose either way! good for it!!!

If it goes pubic I wanna slice…. 🙂LOL, noooo… but he was online and we were chatting when I did that little “experiment” Phil referred to. As for the “big changes”… he’s helped me with the news database and is looking at beefing up the AIM Center. Wanna join in?
BTW, if we split up the “company” does that mean you all share in the loss? :p
November 7, 2002 at 3:52 pm #99657rustedtightMemberQuote:quote:BTW, if we split up the “company” does that mean you all share in the loss?Oh hell yeah, I’m a registered ‘no liability’ company,

December 7, 2002 at 6:39 pm #99663FaizanMemberJeff…i just wanna suggest u sommat…if u like….u can add..ASL…on that toolbar under avater….i’mean Location is already there…and y don’t u add age and sex as well…forget the post counter…
December 11, 2002 at 7:28 am #99653Jeff HesterKeymasterI’m not going to add age and sex for several reasons. First, they aren’t required fields, so they’ll be blank for most people anyway. Second, the extra database lookup will slow things down (not much, but ever little bit adds up), third, this isn’t a dating site, and finally, all that info is one click away anyway… just click on the username to view their profile.

And in your case your age would be blank. Why not complete YOUR Profile? -
