If you haven’t seen this movie, we need to reevaluate our friendship.

Okay, now for the real trailer

I do not typically enjoy QT’s movies. At least not in any spectacular fashion, though there are the occasional few that I love. This one is just…silly. It’s silly and intense. If there could be such a thing, QT has found a way to do it. Seriously. There were points in the movie where the tension was so thick, it was astounding! And others where after the scene, I literally just stared, turned to my friend and asked “…what did I just watch?”
And really, for being such a …silly movie, it obviously exists on an alternate plane of existence that history doesn’t follow, but they really managed to capture how very human and how very…crafty the nazis were. Rather than painting them as faceless monsters as most movies do because they don’t want to get too close, it was pretty fasinating to watch. Not to mention silly.
Did I mention it’s silly?
Yes. A ‘silly’ movie about nazi germany that isn’t featured in The Producers.

I actually enjoy Tarantino films (does he like being referred to as “QT”… which sounds like “cutie?”). They are generally fun, albeit in a violent and weird kind of way. And always different.

It’s a good one.
