KeymasterHave you ever found yourself listening to a song that perfectly captured your feelings right now?
What lyrics express your feelings at the moment? Last night, it was “I Wanna Be Sedated” by the Ramones.
Quote:quote:Twenty-twenty-twenty four hours to go I wanna be sedated
Nothing to do nowhere to go I wanna be sedatedJust get me to the airport and put me in a plane
Hurry hurry hurry before I go insane I can’t control my fingers
I can’t control my brain oh no oh hoJust put me in a wheelchair and get me to the show
Hurry hurry hurry before I go loco I can’t control my fingers
I can’t control my toes oh no oh hoDraw your own conclusions… 😀
Incidently, I saw the Ramones in concert back in… let’s just say it was a long time ago… at UCI. There were in a class by themselves.

Participantjeff – I second the ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’ song, except the I had the Offspring version of it ( never knew it was the ramones all along :-/ )
hard to make a choice, there’s so many songs on my playlist at the moment… I guess right now if I can only pick one, i’d have to go with “Away From The Sun” by 3 Doors Down, even though i’m not usually a big 3dd fan

ParticipantPerfect by Simple Plan. (Lyrics)
This song chokes me up every time I hear it. And it’s amazing how many parts fit my life right now. It honestly seems like they wrote the song after seeing my life right now.

ParticipantI think the idea is to include the portion of the lyrics that describes your feelings best. I know it makes it much more interesting for me to read.
I’ve been listening to alot of Coldplay lately and they wrote this gem of a song – “The Scientist”. Although I love the entire song, this snip of the chorus relates best to me in those rare times when things are tough and can probably relate to practicaly everyone’s life:
Quote:quote:Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard

Quote:quote:Oh look at how she listens
She says nothing of what she thinks
She just goes stumbling through her memories
Staring out on to Grey StreetShe thinks, “Hey,
How did I come to this?
I dream myself a thousand times around the world,
But I can’t get out of this place”July 15, 2004 at 6:34 pm #41658July 27, 2004 at 5:17 pm #41665SushiMan92
MemberHeh, the song “99 Problems” used to be like me. I don’t think I should post the lyrics though because Jay-Z is a lil’ excessive in this song 😉
