I found this program called AIM+ that has a logging feature on it. It comes with a history viewer as well.

Disregard the warning that it isn’t compatible with AIM 5.x. It is, and I’m currently running it.
AIM+ does do some thing with AIM 5.x but it doesnt do everything listed in the features… Those features work with version 4.8 best. AIM+ has had the best logging feature that I have found.
Origionally AIM 4.3 was the first AIM to have a logging feature built into it, but they took it out with the next release.
DeadAIM does have IM logging, it just doesn’t have chatroom logging.
If you want an excellent logging program, switch to linux and get gaim from sourceforge.net
if you dont want to make the switch, there is a port of gaim for win32. however, last i checked it was still in alpha release. And i dont know how it does the logging. In linux tho, each screen name gets a log. all your messages to buddyxxx are in buddyxxx.log
Another sweet feature of gaim is that you can sign on multiple accounts _and_ multiple protocols. So you can have icq and aim. and multiple screen names signed on _in the same window_. I know aim+ has cloning, but gaim lets you have all your buddy lists in the same window. Its really sw33t.
