hey i have a really dumb question..well here goes: ok i have ppl on my yahoo messenger that have alternate screen names, and when they log into one name..the other name i have for them appears online too…i was wondering..how do you do this? ne suggestions would be grateful..thank you.

They probably are using instant messaging clients like Trillian ( http://www.trillian.cc ), Easy Message ( http://www.easymessage.net ) or some other clients. Why don’t you ask your friends how they did this, I am sure they will tell you.

Or they might be using an alias… Go to Login, My Profiles, Create/Edit my profiles, and create a new public profile… After creating a new profile restart YM… Then go again to Login, My Profiles… and make sure the box is checked if u want two-five of ur ID’s will show…
