I recently recieved an email from Yahoo telling me that I had changed my password, when I hadnt, and had been using messenger the night previously without any problems. Now it tells me that the password is incorrect, also my partner cannot login to his username either, it keps coming up with word verification, and when he puts his details in nothing happens. We both cannot even get in to change our passwords! Or to even answer our secret questions to verify that it is us. I am becoming increasingly frustrated and wonder if you can help me. I have emailed yahoo, but keep getting automated responses, telling me to try all the things that I already have. Can you shed any light for me?. Regards..
Ok seems like your password has been stolen. If the person who has taken it has changed the question then I do not think there is any thing u can do. But then you should be able to atleast try to answer your secret question. Are you able to access the site where the question is asked?
It also looks like you have a trojan/key logger on your computer other wise I dont see how both of you mcould have lost your pass word run a trojan scan.

Hi Kron,thanks for the reply, we are already running a zonealarm,and adaware and spyware as well as anti virus software, so dont know a hacker could have gotten in… As for the site to answer my secret question, I dont know wherer that is but will go look for it. Thanks.
Hi Alleycat, Well I have contacted yahoo Aus about three times but all I get is auto generated replies! As for my details, I cant remember what I put for my b’day, as I dont think I put my correct one in…(just goes to show you should huh) but thought that at least they would ask me my secret question to answer but no such luck..Regards
