For about the last month or two entering Yahoo games has been driving me – and many many friends – crazy!
When I use a shortcut like any of those 10 here (some of which incude AmishDonkey, and some not) – if I haven’t logged into Yahoo in previous 24 hoiurs it takes me to Yahoo ID/Password page, which is fine.But once I’ve entered my info it THEN goes direct to my.yahoo.com rather than continuing to whatever game room I was wanting.
My “workaround” is to then close My Yahoo page, and reclick my original link, which WILL then go direct to the game as my Id/password is now remembered again. But geeee, it never used to have this problem, but now it affects me and many others. Here I see HatedJ and Amy appear to NOT have this problem, although if for example you login to Yahoo on some other webpage each day first, then this would not happen.
I reiterate, problem occurs ONLY on your first login in a 24-hr (or whatever your time period is set at) period – for the rest of that period all goes quite smoothly again.
Just press back button after loggin in, f5 if needed to set up cookie and it should auto login then.

I never thought of just “back” – I’ll try something like that as a BETTER “workaround”, but I’m still puzzled why this is needed these days, when it was never a problem till a month or two back.Seems to me that previously if you headed for a game and Yahoo thoiught u were due for ID login, it sent you there BUT THEN pushed you on to where you’d been going. But NOW they’ve scrapped!? that, and simply/stupidly take you direct to My.Yahoo.
Perhaps just their typical clumsy way of “pushing” a feature ?(I actually quite like my.yahoo.com – but NOT when it bounces up when I’m hurrying on my way somewhere else ! GRRRRRRRR 😡 )
