MemberI am going down to London on Thursday for work, cannot say I am really looking forward to it to be honest. Go to Kings Cross then across town, conference then back up to Yorkshire again. It’s not going to stop me that’s for sure but I know I will be very scared.. I know I will. But that’s what we have to do, not let them beat us!! My boss said Sarah do you want to cancel, this afternoon after today, I told him no. Sod them, and so say all of us!

MemberGood on you Sarah. We shouldn’t let the terrorists stop us living and doing the things we want to do because then they’ve done what they wanted to do.
I was indeed shocked when The Ashes was interrupted for a special news report. Glad to hear that they’re not as severe as 2 weeks ago though.

KeymasterYeah I heard about the attacks today. Glad you guys along with others over there are safe.
I wonder when this will all end, or if it even will.

MemberI’m sorry to say that this happened again. I since I have been working midnight shift, I haven’t had the chance to read the newspapers or watch the tv. I didn’t know this happened until just now.
When will everyone just stop already?

MemberThis is interesting. Since the blasts “failed” (eg: instead of blowing the bus, the just blew out the windows) a great deal evidence is left intact and CSI crews wont have to look though heaps of rubble and debris.However, two possible situtations may emerge;
a) The bombs were made by terrorists, evidence evenetualy leads to individuals. This results in many cells being brought down. Less terrorsim likley for the time being.
b) The bombs were made by pranksters. Perpitratiors are found, punished and humiated. No terrorsits arrested. Possible terrorism probablilty just as high as before.
Unfortunelty, i think we may be looking at option b here. Obviulsy though, there are many other various situations that could occur.

Holland, Denmark and Italy are next right now in Europe, according to the terrorists’ messages.July 23, 2005 at 1:01 am #126463MartinBradley

I think London got lucky this time though, the bombs were apparently, “intended to kill” said Sir Ian Blair, and “for some reason had failed to detonate properly”.
What does worry me however, is that when the country and intelligence services are on a high state of alert after 7/7, that they knew absolutely nothing about this second attempt.
