I keep losing sound in chat rooms then I end up stepping on someone when I hit the talk button is there a patch for this I have yahoo 6.1
well it can be your connection that has weak connection with the voice servers. As to the patch for not loosing sound in chatrooms, I am not aware of any as of the moment.. sorry..
so you have the same problem I have sbc dsl and when I reformatted I did not put it back on because it would log me out every time I closed a window thats when the problem started I think
chances are that you are getting a voice disconect boot, if you are a mic hog or just somone dose not like you thay can make sure you can not talk in chat
