Has anyone from here watched the whole season 3 and its final?? It was SHOCKING!
May 28, 2007 at 7:26 pm #151534Jeff HesterKeymasterYes, I saw it. Nothing on that show shocks me anymore. I keep hoping it will end, but that doesn’t look like it’s ever going to happen.
Man, is Jack ever a loser — whenever he’s not on the island.
May 28, 2007 at 7:56 pm #151550princeGParticipantI disagree, even though they say they will make 2 more seasons of 16 episodes each, I still think it’s the best show out there.
We found out many things in this season and the flashforward in the end shows that that’s what we’re going to have from now on instead of flashbacks. The in-depth analysis of everyone’s character and the unending theories behind the mysteries keep me attached to it.
The producers know very well what they’re doing and I don’t feel it’s dragging at all. The first 6-7 episodes of this season were probably not that interesting but after that it was good ol’ Lost.
It seems Jack’s life after the island is an utter mess.
July 25, 2007 at 8:18 am #151542detn8rParticipantOK, so I JUST finished watching the first two seasons… I had to buy them on DVD of course ($65 a pop each). BUT, apparently season 3 doesn’t come out until mid December, which never makes any sense to me.
I think I’m going to try and pick it up off the internet, because I just can’t wait 5 more months :p
I hate how they do that though. They always release the previous season on DVD after the next season starts on TV. They are doing that with Prison Break too… they are releasing Season 2 in September, but season 3 starts in August … grrr!!!
July 31, 2007 at 2:02 pm #151532Jeff HesterKeymasterOne show I wish ended already. It’s gotten ridiculous and it lacks creativity now. It’s just like “lets throw this in to make the audience go OH NOES!”
I’m thinking next season they’ll reveal some evil talking coconut zombies. Fortunately they’ll run into Tom Hanks from cast away who is an expert zombie killer but talks to no one but his volleyball. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUN!
March 8, 2008 at 4:16 am #151535Jeff HesterKeymasterWell, thanks to TiVo, I have been watching season
threeFOUR. It is puzzling. The Oceanic Six ate miraculously rescued, yet no clue what happens to the rest. Well, there is some clue… An allusion that they are still alive… But why can’t the rest of the world know?
March 8, 2008 at 4:24 am #151561PhilipModeratorI’ve almost finished watching the finale of Season 3. Boy, this is a show which demands 110% concentration from the viewer, otherwise you won’t know what the hell’s going on. I had hoped that Season 4 would be the last, but word has it they are planning another 3 seasons (gulp!)
March 8, 2008 at 1:28 pm #151551princeGParticipantYes they planned 3 more seasons that will consist of 16 episodes each. However, due to the writer’s strike there are gonna be just 8 episodes at the moment (in season 4), then a short break (don’t know for how long) and a few more episodes afterwards.
We don’t know why the world can’t know so far but we can guess that the island’s mystery, healing properties or whatever it is that’s going on there, must not be made known to the public. Also, time seems to move slower in the island than in the ‘real’ world.
In the first 6 episodes we have received quite a few answers.I won’t say more cause Philip hasn’t watched the new season yet :p
March 9, 2008 at 8:07 am #151562PhilipModeratorWell, I’ve just finished watching the entire Season 3 on DVD, and it was intense. George is probably going to disagree with me on this, but…I don’t know how much more I can take  . The end of Season 3 has flash-forwards (yes, we’re going post-island now) and features a very unhappy and intoxicated Jack attempting suicide. Obviously the island has become an opium to him, and now (as he tells Kate) he wishes he could return to it…
I really wish J.J. Abrams would tie up all the loose ends in Season 4 and be done with it. This is beginning to be a really long-haul watch…guess I’m not a 100% Lostie
March 9, 2008 at 9:29 pm #151536Jeff HesterKeymasterYeah, I’m starting to lose interest. I don’t want to watch for two more seasons after this.
Philip, isn’t season four available there on TV? You should be able to watch online if nothing else.
March 10, 2008 at 8:51 am #151563PhilipModeratorJeff, they’re only showing Season 3 here. I have to d/l Season 4 and hopefully the twists and turns won’t be too excessive.
May 5, 2008 at 3:03 am #151566Holdem185MemberI love the show although the time is jusst stupid! Since kids (like me) watch lost I think it should switch times with Grey’s Anatomy so it will be on earlier and you can still get some sleep
May 13, 2008 at 5:00 am #151540FanaticMemberIt depresses me that there are still two more seasons planned AFTER this one. It’s too much of a time commitment!!

May 13, 2008 at 3:59 pm #151537Jeff HesterKeymasterI’ve kept up with season four, but I agree with fanatic — I don’t know if I can hang in there for two more seasons.
I will say that it’s a bit like a fog is slowly lifting as they reveal more clues about the island and the future.
