I’ve modded aim three times already, but AIM would always funk up. So after learning what messes it up and what doesn’t, I’ve created MAMA.
I changed the window color in buddyui.ocm from FFFBF0 to D5CCBB. Sign on, send, and the away notifier were edited in Paint. Everything else was done through AIMRes, no extra plug-ins. What do y’all think of it?i think its like every other halfway modded aim out there… sorry but you can do much better… like change the signon image, replace the buttons at the bottom of the list, etc
Yeah, I’m not done editing it. The reason the sign-on image isn’t changed is because im trying to find a way to completely remove the space. So I just left it the way it is. Any more suggestions? And if I don’t know how to reshack it, could you help me? Thanks in advance.
i dont think you can remove the signon pic entirely, otherwise i’d have done that a long time ago…
my suggestions are:
1. remove or replace the buttons at the bottom of the list. you can make them do anything within aim that you want, just be sure to replace the correct bitmaps with your own, otherwise you just get the default command buttons
2. replace the away message icons with something… anything… different
3. change the icons (like the little running man, etc) with something that matches your desktop. I hate default iconsAimRes mostly. Buddyui.ocm for colors. IM me. Its easier to explain if I know what you want to do. AIM- theconman228
