Anytime I manually edit my profile – the info.htm file – (through my HTML editing program), the changes dont seem to take effect unless i go back through the ‘My AIM’>’Edit Profile’ sequence. And then once i do that, anything i trimmed out is right back in there (ex: excess font tags, etc…) Why is this?? I figured if i trimmed out the extra/unneeded font tags and such, i could get more information in the profile without going over the 1K limit… someone please help

You need to restart AIM to resend your info.htm to the AOL servers. Using Edit Profile through AIM may not save your HTML correctly, and mess things up (Because it is a WYSIWYG editor, and doesn’t like some tags it seems).
