I just finished my new Matrix sign-on picture, I know there’s another one floating around on the Internet but personally I think this one is better… of course my opinion is just slightly biased… it’s simple, clean, yet very Matrix-esque. i’ll probably end up putting a little more work into it, just a few little tweaks, but for now this is the finished product
check it out, let me know what you think, and feel free to use it yourself… Slum posted directions in this topic on how to modify AIM to display a picture of your choice rather than the standard signon image
Its great, except maybe you should darken the color of “the matrix” to seperate it more from the backround unless you did that intentionally. Otherwise, i think i found myself i new sign on picture.
yeah i intentionally made it so it sort of blends into the background… i didnt want it to be too prominent, but i wanted to make sure you could still see it
like i said i’m still probably gonna tweak it a little, i’ll take that into consideration
It looks good. Can u share with me where i can get that Matrix font? I have one but that seems to be much better.
the font i used for “THE MATRIX” is called Miltown – you can get it at the bottom of this page
i’m not sure where i got the font for the code, but do a google search for “matrix code font” and you’ll find it
you should make the aim icon animated, i.e. running and dodging bullets similar to how neo did it in the orgibal matrix.

Aim icon? She was talking about her Aim signon pic. And if that is wat u were talking about you cant upload animated GIF’s. i cant remember but i believe you can only use BMP’s for the signon pic. Ill look into it and update later.

it’d be interesting to do, but i have no idea how to make animations, and i’m not sure if the signon pic can be animated. i would think its a possibility, but who knows

Funny. Too bad you couldn’t make the running man die. A lot of people here would actually love to see that happen. 😉
On a side note, could you decrease the size of your signature? It takes up almost half the page right now!
