This will bring up a file tree on the right side of the program. Go to GIFDATA > 103 then click the little file that shows.

Then go back up to your Tool bar and click “Action” and then pick “Replace Other Resource”

From here it will bring up a new pop up window… you want to click the button that says “Open File With New Resource”. And browse your computer for the .gif file that you want to replace.

Then it will ask you to fill a few things in.
For the “Resource Type” box enter: GIFDATA
For the “Resource Name” box enter: 103
For the “Resource Language” box enter: 1033

All that does is sets the new .gif to be the default image in the .dll file

After your done go to File > Save

Its a little bit more work than just replacing it through Aimutation… but I personaly think it looks a bit cooler that its changed on the standard AIM skin. Its all up to you if you wanna do this or the Aimutation way, both will get the job done.
