Dun dun dun dun…
Once again I give to you what you’ve all been waiting for, the newest member of the month…..[/rightPlease join me in congratulating Kyle on receiving this prestigious honor. He has been a member at BBB since March 2003 and we are glad he has stayed! Kyle is always a great help in the AIM section as well as a joy in the off topic sections. So please give a cheer and a hollar for our newest recipient of the MotM “poking stick” ๐
Q: How did you find out about BigBlueBall? What made you stay?
A: I was probably looking for something involving AOL Instant Messenger as for a long while I didn’t use any messengers besides AIM. What made me stay? The administration, members, and the site / forum layout. I found that BBB, being run very well by Jeff and the moderators, seems to function at the exact opposite of many other sites, where spamming and posting gets out of hand, updates are scarce, and things are totally unorganized. Then there was the layout of the BBB site and forum, which I like so very much. It has great colors, has easy navigation, and uses Snitz, which I have found to be much better (in my opinion) than Envision and the other forums that are so popular.Q: Why did you choose “someguy03” as your username?
A: Actually, when I first starting getting into the internet, you obviously needed a screename and password for most services. I couldn’t really think of anything to use as a screename, but “someguy03” was something that sounded familiar, only I couldn’t remember from where. I later found out I had recognized it from the screename my brother had been using, “s0m3guy”. Luckily he had only used it a few times, and changed his screename to something else. But ya, no real particular reason for it, just an accident.Q: How many years have you been using computers?
A: I started using computers alot in 2001. My brother was already an addict, and I started getting into it also. Once I started playing PC games and getting into the internet; I got hooked.Q: How long have you been instant messaging?
A: I started using instant messaging alot when AIM got into the 4.8 / 5.2 versions, before that I never really used it before that since I didn’t have alot of people to talk to.Q: What is your favorite instant messenger and why?
A: I prefer AIM since basically everyone I really talk to uses it. It’s also simple, clean, and can easily be improved with AIM addon’s and other programs.Q: What is your favorite BigBlueBall forum section and why?
A: My favorite BBB section is probably the AIM forums, since I know more about AIM than any other messenger, and can help a lot of people out. Second is the Random Rambling’s forum. I can always find something interesting and fun to talk about there.Q: What do you do when you’re not online?
A: I am usually doing homework, at the movies, running cross country / track, or am at school. When I’m on the computer and not IM’ing I am usually playing video games, at BBB, listening to music, surfing the net, or working on something in Adobe Photoshop.Q: Anything else you would like to add?
A: I turn 15 in 3 days (It’s Oct. 14 and my B-day is the 17)

October 15, 2004 at 12:41 am #36680RabidKittenParticipant*thumbs up* Way to go, kid. I have to say that you are by far one of the least annoying of the remaining candidates. *snickers* That and I dig the 70’s haircut. All feathered and such, gives me shivers! Hah!
Anyway, keep it real and love that stick as if it were your own offspring…unless you’re from the south, in which case, inbreeding isn’t allowed, keep it in your pants, man.
