Dear Jeff,
So i like this site and want to know the pyramid of member rank like new member, junior member, active member, senior member. How many posts do u need?If the sky is dark why not lighten it up.-Bob
April 17, 2002 at 11:03 pm #68557Jeff HesterKeymasterKeep posting and you’ll soon see! 😉
Seriously though, here is the current ranking (Updated 08-Aug-2003):
- Gimp – under 10 posts
- BigBlueNewbie – 10 to 49 posts
- BigBlueRookie – 50 to 99 posts
- BigBlueVeteran – 100 to 499 posts
- BigBlueElite – 500 to 999 posts
- BigBlueMaster – 1000+ posts
I’m open to suggestions for the rank titles… anyone got some creative ideas? 😎

BigBlueBall.comApril 18, 2002 at 8:30 pm #68568smiddyMemberI was wondering how PC Member is for a forum? Though, I’m not helping since I don’t have an alternative…maybe Poster…something that discribes the actions like Participant.
O’course, it really doesn’t matter to me, but you did ask for something
April 18, 2002 at 11:01 pm #68555Jeff HesterKeymasterI’m ok with member, but I thought there might be more creative (and fun) titles.
A poster sounds to much like something you’d pin up on a wall.
Thought maybe something like, BigBlue Newbie, Cool Blue-ster, IM Guru, IM Legend, etc…
