Messaging while away

Dead AIM 4.5 allows messaging while away but the option in dead aim options is not availble for me. it is blacked out like its not available to be used. is there a particular reason for this?

The idea is that you can just ‘ghost’ yourself (Go invisible), and it does the same thing. :/

On a side note, Dead AIM 4.5 had the “messaging while away” feature disabled because there was a problem with the way it worked. It was going to be fixed and added in but the developer just scrapped it after ghosting became a feature of AIM.

Yes, middle_man also has messaging while away. Its quite cool, “/away *message*” gets you away. You can also be truly away with an away message which responds to IMs with the standard “My Aim>Away Message>*message*”.
