Messenger 2 versus Trillian Basic
Looks like a nice client but I haven’t got a chance to try it out yet. Works with all the major IM networks. But most appealing to me is the features, which Trillian lacks. If your interested, check out the article over at TechConnect.
I gave Messenger2 a try back when it was first lanched. It was buggy as hell, although it has been several months.
i dont particularly like this line:
sounds pretty demanding to me. “when you will download and install our software”?? how about you tell me the features right now before I download and install your software? another minor little thing that bothers me is the random spelling errors all over the page. if you’re gonna try to have a professional site with a product you want people to get, you cant have a “usefull” “messaing” with your “buddie”
i think i’ll stick with trillian for now
This program is not an ideal choice for AIM users. Sound, video, and direct connection will only work if both users have this program. How quaint….
And the show IP address feature to others…
Worst option allows me to show my IP address to the whole world.
Best option allows for me to ‘authorize’ if I want to show my IP address to whoever asks – aka – a means of popup box spam!
