I have windows 98 and have been trying to download a messenger but I’m not having any luck. What can I do?
What Messenger are you trying to download?
Welcome to BBB, know it all. *snickers* The irony in that name is great.
Anyway, Kudo has a very good point, we need to know what kind of messenger you’re planning on using, or if you really don’t care and grab at anything.
Well we still dont know what type of messenger you would like to use however, If you want to use MSN Messenger by any chance then i can help you out on that.
Thats for Windows 98.
I cant put the link down because i have not posted 10 posts yet but i will try and PM it to you now.
Hi mrknowitall:
As far as I know, the version of Messenger you can use in Windows 98 is MSN Messenger 6.2. Download it here.
If you want an up-to-date IM client that connects to multiple networks (including MSN, AIM, YAHOO!, Jabber) AND works on Windows 98 (and others) i suggest you install Pidgin (Gaim). The latest version is Pidgin 2.1.0 which was released this weekend (July 29 2007).
