hey guys,
hope everythings been sweet, just a simple question and answer 🙂
Is it possible to be signed into two accounts at once, by this i mean, being online msn messenger live & meebo for example?
thanks. I dont think it is, but just to check? Because sometimes i get..”you have been signed into another pc”
As of now the answer is no. When you try to log in to Meebo it will sign you out of WLM. You will indeed get the message you quoted. Perhaps in the next version, when it will allow you to sign in on multiple computers.
If I’m not mistaken the forthcoming WLM 9.0 will allow you to sign in up to four multiple locations at once. Something to look forward to.
But if i may add…?
That means you could be signed onto my account, and i dont know? Unless my friends tell me?
Because how do i know your not online? If that makes sence…because at least the old version, you can only be logged in on one, meaning if someone hacks into mine, it will sign me out, notifying me. I think there might be some complaints…what are some positives?..
🙂
I suspect you’re right in theory. I’ve not seen the beta but I’d be reasonably sure there will be an option to enable or disable that. The choice will likely be yours.
Bit if I may add….others having your password is a bad idea anyway. If you’re afraid of someone using your account, it’s likely time for a password change eh?
I suppose it’s been said before, but never divulge your password to anyone. It’s better also to uncheck the Sign me in automatically and Remember my password options in the main WLM window.
And as Doris mentioned, changing your password periodically is not a bad thing.
