Hi,
I am facing a strange problem. My messegner is no more connecting to the server faster. I am using broadband connection. It was running fine earlier. I remember running edonkey and then modifying some connection settings there. I I am using Yahoo messenger beta 7. I get connected only after 5 mintues..Does anyone know how to fix it.. or why this is happening..!

yaaa..i’m facing d same prob..n am using beta7..:crying: perhaps it’s because of d connectn:confused:
is it only beta users facing this prob?
You may have problems in your socket. Last night i was running beta messenger with Y!Tunnel, i got disconnected then i can no longer reconnect. at first i thought it was a IP ban so i just get a new IP, unfortunately it did not work. I even tried to log-in using Chat Clients, but still was not able to stayed connected. In yahElite, i was a ble to get the authentication, but when i enter chatroom, it got disconnected. I even re-started my PC but it did not help. I am not quite sure if its only happening in Beta version
So, i ran a winsock fix utility then re-boot. Now, everything works great. 😉
