Middle Man?

Question, well obviously, but anyway. Middle Man, is it compatable with AIM 5.5. I was looking at their site and couldn’t find that out. Also does anyone have it and is it comperable to DeadAIM and the like???

I don’t use 5.5, but I heard somewhere that it’s compatible. Not sure though.

middle_man is somewhat compatable with 5.5 (the latest one). The ad-removal does not work in it, only in older version of AIM, so don’t try turning on the ad-removal features when using the current AIM 5.5 with the current middle_man (0.2.0009). They are working on making middle man more compatable with the newer AIM versions, so one of the releases comming up should work completly.

yes and no, it works, but the ad-removal is somewhat buggy.

right now i have AIM 5.1.3036…..is there a later version of AIM that will be 100%compatible with middle_man?

it should be compatible with 5.2 versions

middle_man will work with all versions from 4.8 – 5.5.3415, however we are experiencing some bugs with Win98/Me users. However these issues are ad-removal related. If you uncheck all ad-removal options, middle_man will stay out of it. This means you can use modded buddylists with ad-removal.

We do not recommend nor support the use of middle_man with anything above 5.5.3415.
